Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health is an important part of our overall wellness. This month is a chance to help raise awareness and eliminate the stigma associated with mental health and treatment. Focusing on self-care can help improve your mental health. This can include getting regular exercise, getting enough sleep, and eating health meals. Learn more about caring for your mental health here.

Mental Health Benefits for State Employees
Did you know that every State of Utah employee receives four hours of administrative leave each fiscal year to help meet their mental health needs?
These hours can be used for mental health care education, visits with a licensed mental health professional, webinars, financial wellness sessions, walking, and other physical activities.
Check with your supervisor before taking this leave and for more information visit the DHRM website.
