The division I work in is…

Corporations

I have worked at Commerce for…

I have worked for Commerce for 5 Years. I worked 10 years for the Davis County Library. And got a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Weber State University.

At Commerce, my job is…

I am a Office Specialist II/Lead. I do data entry, customer service, train new hires and oversee their work and answer their questions.

The best thing about working for the Utah Department of Commerce is…

I have a great team/division and teleworking situation is wonderful. Important because working with people who are pleasant and hard working is easier than working with people who are not. Teleworking is important to me because of travel time isn’t as long (even if I don’t live too far), save money on gas, it doesn’t wear down my car as fast, and I love it.

I have professionally grown working in my division because…

When I first started I learned my immediate teams processes but throughout the years I have gained other knowledge to include that of the other teams within my division as well. I have recently gained more experience and knowledge in leading employees.

During my workday I could not live without…

Communication between coworkers and from management because in order to do a job thouroughly/correctly it takes knowledge from others that I might not have. Or to provide knowledge I have to others.

Outside of the office I like to…

Sing, read, spend time with family, watch movies, diamond dot projects/crafts, and play games on ipad.

My superpower is…

Hard worker and being helpful. I have been taught from a young age to work hard and to serve or be helpful. I always try to do what is needed in a work day and to help wherever and whoever needs it.
